RIVOT Subscription Plan
RIVOT Subscription Plans provide a range of connected services and support to enhance your riding experience. These may include:
1. Connected Services & Data
The RIVOT nx100 comes with an in-built SIM, providing continuous data connectivity without requiring a mobile hotspot. Data services enable:
- Real-time navigation on the scooter dashboard.
- Ride analytics and performance monitoring.
- Sync with the “RIVOT One” mobile app for remote insights.
- Over-the-air (OTA) updates for new features, bug fixes, and software improvements.
Critical OTA updates required for safety or core functionality will be provided at no additional cost. Availability of connected services depends on telecom network coverage. RIVOT is not liable for interruptions due to network issues.
2. Roadside Assistance (RSA)
RIVOT or its authorized partners provide on-road support for eligible vehicles under an active subscription:
- Onsite support for punctures – Labour and material costs borne by the Customer.
- Breakdown assistance – For vehicles immobilized due to mechanical or electrical faults. Replacement parts and labour are chargeable unless covered by warranty.
- Towing – Support to transport your vehicle to the nearest authorized service center in case of accidents or immobilization.
- Battery discharge support – Assistance to reach the nearest charging station or home if the vehicle runs out of charge.
3. Exclusions
The following situations are not covered under the RIVOT Subscription Plans:
- Force Majeure – Natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics, or any events beyond RIVOT’s control.
- Performance limited mode – Vehicles in safe mode are expected to reach a secure location before requesting roadside assistance.
- Damage due to misuse or unauthorized modifications by the Customer or third parties.
- Initial activation period – Roadside assistance begins 15 days after subscription activation.
- Misuse of services may result in cancellation of subscription.
4. Subscription Fees
Payment – Fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable. Payments can be made through RIVOT’s official channels. Third-party payment terms may also apply.
- Plan Transfer/Cancellation – Subscriptions cannot be canceled or transferred by the Customer. Non-renewal may result in restricted services or standard rate charges.
- Renewal Conditions – RIVOT may require vehicle maintenance before renewing a subscription. Renewal may be refused if the vehicle does not meet eligibility requirements.
- Plan Changes – RIVOT may add or remove services, modify features, or adjust fees. Customers will be informed of significant changes.
- Cancellation by RIVOT – Subscriptions may be canceled in case of breach of terms. In such events, fees may be forfeited. Refunds, if applicable, will be handled on a pro-rata basis.
- Resale – On vehicle resale, subscription benefits may be transferred to the new owner, subject to RIVOT approval.
5. Data & Privacy
RIVOT may collect vehicle and usage data (including location, ride statistics, and system performance) to provide and improve subscription services. Data is collected only for service enhancement, safety, and analytics, and governed by RIVOT’s Privacy Policy. Customer consent is obtained, and data will not be shared externally without legal obligation.
6. Other Terms
Customers must read and understand these Terms. Continued use of subscription services implies acceptance of updated terms. RIVOT may revise, suspend, or terminate subscription services or plans at its discretion. Any breach of terms may result in termination without refund. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Belagavi, Karnataka.
