Refund Policy
RIVOT MOTORS India Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 and having its registered address at Fifth Floor, Oneness, 1st Cross, 1st Main, Sadashivnagar, Belagavi, Karnataka - 590001 (hereinafter referred to as “RIVOT®” or “We” or “Our” or “Us”) provides this Refund Policy for customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customer” or “You” or “Your”) who have made a booking or purchased a RIVOT branded electric two-wheeled vehicle (“Vehicle”) either directly through RIVOT or through its authorized retail partners (“Retail Partner”).
Please read this Refund Policy carefully before proceeding with a booking or purchase. By engaging with RIVOT or its Retail Partners, You agree to be bound by this Refund Policy and other applicable policies published on RIVOT’s website from time to time.
1. Booking Refund
The booking amount paid by You for reserving a RIVOT Vehicle is fully refundable, subject to the conditions outlined below:
- The booking amount is treated as a non-interest-bearing security deposit and is refundable upon Your request, provided the request is made before the delivery process is initiated.
- To initiate a refund, You must submit a refund request through RIVOT’s official website or contact our customer support at support@rivot.com. The request must include Your booking details, such as the booking ID and registered email address.
- Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of approval of the refund request, provided all required information is submitted correctly.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking, or via bank transfer if the original method is unavailable.
- In case of payment disputes, RIVOT and its Retail Partners are not liable for any delays caused by third-party payment gateways or financial institutions.
2. Cancellation of Purchase
- If You cancel Your purchase after the Vehicle has been allocated for delivery but before the final delivery, the booking amount will be refunded, subject to a deduction of any applicable processing fees as communicated by RIVOT or its Retail Partner.
- Once the Vehicle has been delivered, no refunds will be issued unless the Vehicle is found to have manufacturing defects that cannot be repaired or replaced, as determined by RIVOT’s quality assurance team.
- In the event of a cancellation due to RIVOT’s inability to deliver the Vehicle within the estimated delivery period, You are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount without any deductions.
- Any government subsidies or incentives applied to the purchase price will not be included in the refund amount if such subsidies have already been claimed or processed.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- If You fail to complete the payment of the balance amount within the timeline specified in the delivery intimation email sent by RIVOT or its Retail Partner.
- If the Vehicle has been customized as per Your specifications, and production has already commenced.
- For any accessories, merchandise, or additional services purchased alongside the Vehicle, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product terms.
- In case of misuse, damage, or unauthorized modifications to the Vehicle after delivery.
